- Plagiarise! Understand what the best people in the company do – then do it better! Model yourself on those who are doing well.
- Be the boss. Put yourself in the shoes of management. If you were the boss, what would the model employee look like? What type of person and skills would you promote? Gain an understanding by role playing the boss of what’s needed for that promotion.
- Character is more important than personality. Know the difference, and develop your core character. True success doesn’t lie in techniques and gimmicks to get you liked, but in your true values and beliefs. Let management see what you stand for.
